Mobile Technician

Duval Ford is seeking experienced Mobile Technicians. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and on-site maintenance and at times may be roadside when performing their job duties.

Requirements

• Previous experience inspecting and repairing vehicles
• ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification or equivalent is a plus.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
• Knowledgeable and stays abreast of federal, state and local regulations
• Works in a safe manner
• Able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
• Must be available nights and weekends for on call rotation.
• Provide after-hours/on-call service to customers that may include fleet service.

Responsibilities

• Performs work as outlined on a repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Diagnose cause of most malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Communications with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended
• Documents all work performed on the repair order
• Road tests vehicles when required
• Travel to various locations to assist customers and diagnose issues.
