Job Summary

The Collision Center Estimator at Duncan Collision Center will be working as a skilled professional, taking care of the estimating and customer service process, making sure that all vehicles that arrive at the center are processed, estimated and ready for technicians to work on quickly and accurately. The Estimator will be responsible for consistent and accurate assessments of damage, and estimates for repair costs. The Estimator will be working in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple tasks and customers simultaneously.

Compensation & Benefits

This is a full-time position and is eligible for an annual salary and full benefits, in accordance with company policy. Other benefits, such as performance-based bonuses, paid leave, health, and vision insurance, may be available at the discretion of the company.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and managing initial collision damage estimates
• Ensuring that estimates are complete and accurate
• Maintaining a comprehensive database of parts, labor and other costs associated with repairs and refinish
• Reviewing customer-initiated additions and maintaining the appropriate contact with customers
• Communicating with customers about repair processes, such as timeline and estimate preparation
• Establishing realistic customer expectations and work diligently to meet them
• Creating reports and ordering parts and materials
• Working with technicians and parts suppliers to ensure the best outcomes

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Automotive repair/estimating/customer service experience
• Understanding of auto body repair processes
• Ability to work with system software, including ability to order parts
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks efficiently
• Valid driver's license
