LOT ATTENDANT

Douglas Volkswagen is seeking a motivated and reliable Lot Attendant to join our team in Summit, NJ. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of our dealership lot, ensuring vehicles are in their designated spots, and assisting with the general upkeep of the premises. This position offers a dynamic work environment and the opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of our dealership.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain the vehicle inventory on the lot, ensuring all cars are parked correctly and safely.
• Assist customers and staff with vehicle movement and retrieval as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections of vehicles and report any damages or issues.
• Maintain cleanliness of the lot, including trash removal and general tidying.
• Support the service and sales departments with vehicle logistics and lot management.
• Follow all safety and company policies while performing duties.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience in an automotive or lot attendant role is a plus but not required.
