We’re currently seeking a skilled and people-focused Human Resources Manager to oversee and lead all aspects of our HR operations, with a special emphasis on recruiting, employee relations, compliance, training, payroll administration, and overall team engagement.
What You’ll Do:

Lead all HR functions in accordance with DoubleTree by Hilton standards and applicable federal/state laws.

Partner with the General Manager and department leaders to support staffing, development, and culture goals.

Recruit, interview, and assist in selecting qualified candidates for open positions.

Administer new hire onboarding, employee orientation, and training programs (compliance, safety, guest service, and anti-harassment).

Maintain compliance with labor laws, OSHA regulations, and internal policies.

Address employee relations issues and manage investigations, grievances, and disciplinary actions.

Support and coach managers on performance reviews, corrective action, and staff development.

Process payroll accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with wage and hour regulations.

Manage timekeeping records and coordinate with third-party payroll providers when necessary.

Oversee benefits administration, employee leave, and workers' compensation processes.

Monitor workplace safety and serve on the hotel’s safety committee.

Maintain up-to-date personnel files, handbooks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Prepare and manage the HR department budget.
What We’re Looking For:
Qualifications:
-
2–3 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a hotel or hospitality setting

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred

PHR or SPHR certification is a plus, but not required
Skills & Competencies:
-
Strong knowledge of HR compliance, employment law, and best practices

Experience processing payroll and managing payroll systems

Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters professionally

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)

Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, but not required
Physical Requirements:

Mostly sedentary work with occasional walking, stair climbing, and standing

Ability to lift/move up to 10 pounds

Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed

This position pays $62,000-$67,000 annually based on experience.
