About the role: As a location manager, your primary responsibility is to lead and manage your store, ensuring revenue growth in all operational areas, including Rental, Service, and Parts. You will be expected to uphold company policies and procedures while promoting high morale among coworkers and providing outstanding customer service. Furthermore, you will strive to meet both short-term and long-term organizational goals. This role also requires you to implement proactive safety measures, ensuring that all team members work in a safe environment that complies with company, OSHA, and EPA standards. 

Business Operating Hours/Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:30 am - 5:00 pm

In this role you can expect to:

  1. Operational Management
    1. Manage day-to-day responsibilities and delegate duties related to Rental, Service, and Parts to ensure efficient operation.
    2. Drive process improvement initiatives to streamline operations, cut costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
    3. Own and prioritize safety initiatives within the branch to maintain a secure and compliant work environment.
    4. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales growth, service efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
    5. Conduct regular meetings to align departmental, location, and corporate goals.
  2. People Management
    1. Lead and supervise your team to achieve each department's (Service, Parts, Rental) targets and operational goals.
    2. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching to coworkers to enhance their skills and productivity.
    3. Foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and professional growth among team members.
    4. Partner with HR team to recruit, onboard, support, and retain coworkers.
  3. Customer Relations
    1. Ensure each dept. provides excellent customer service by fostering a customer-first approach and addressing any service or operational issues promptly.
    2. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers across diverse industries.
  4. Collaboration and Support
    1. Works directly with other departments, including but not limited to Regional Management, Human Resources, IT, Accounting, and Leadership.
    2. Collaborate with Leadership and Regional Management to establish annual goals that support business goals and financial targets and develop and implement strategic plans to enhance business development and market presence.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED, Technical or Trade School
  • Two (2) years of prior demonstrated management or leadership experience.
  • Driver’s License with a good driving record and insurable by company standards.

 

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong knowledge and skills of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Highly Preferred: 2-3 years of heavy equipment rental experience
