Carpenter / Handyman

Are you a talented carpenter or handyman looking for a role where your skills can truly shine? We’re searching for an experienced and dependable individual to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects across multiple properties in the Wichita & Andover areas.

Position Overview:

As our Carpenter/Handyman, you will be a full-time staff member and will play a critical role in maintaining, enhancing, and transforming our properties. Your projects will span a variety of spaces, including four car dealerships, a boutique, a restaurant, and a ranch and private residence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a range of carpentry and remodeling tasks, including but not limited to: trim work, drywall repair, cabinetry, flooring, and painting.
• Assess repair needs and provide recommendations or creative solutions to address them.
• Collaborate with managers to prioritize and execute tasks effectively.
• Work independently to complete assigned projects on schedule and within budget.
• Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order.
• Uphold safety standards on all projects, protecting yourself and others on-site.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience in carpentry and remodeling, with strong references to verify your skills.
• Independence: Ability to self-manage, troubleshoot, and take initiative to complete projects with minimal supervision.
• Problem-Solving: Creative thinking to address repair and remodeling challenges effectively.
• Attention to Detail: Commitment to delivering high-quality work that meets or exceeds expectations.
• Tools and Equipment: Knowledge of and experience using standard carpentry and remodeling tools.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, standing, bending, and working in various weather conditions.
• Driver’s License: Valid license and reliable transportation for traveling between properties.

Work Schedule and Compensation:

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Pay: Competitive hourly rate of $20 to $27, based on experience and skill level.
