Job Summary: The Fixed Operations Service Director helps lead a team of service professionals to deliver exceptional value and satisfaction to our customers on a continuous basis. The Fixed Operations Service Director helps plan, train, lead, and monitor the performance of service advisors, service technicians, and support staff to promote 100% customer satisfaction and revenue growth in line with targeted business and financial objectives.

Fixed Operations Service Director Compensation and Benefits:

Fixed Operations Service Director Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in servicing, repairing and explaining each service needed
  • Understand customers’ requirements and concerns; match requirements and concerns to various service options
  • Make the customer comfortable with the service being performed and keep the customer informed and updated throughout the service of their vehicle
  • Stay updated on new products, features, accessories and attend product training as required
  • Maintain a service customer follow up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction
  • Hire and supervise all service department personnel, as well as monitor their performance in servicing customers
  • Create goals and objectives for the department, which include an annual operating budget, and a marketing plan to promote new business
  • Maintain a high Customer Service Index (CSI) rating by handling customer complaints immediately and appropriately

Fixed Operations Service Director Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a service manager
  • Strong focus on providing excellent customer service
  • High school diploma or higher education
  • Clean driving record & valid driver’s license
