We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Vehicle Exchange Specialist to join our team. This role involves selling, leasing, and purchasing new and used vehicles through our Service Department, including the waiting area. Vehicle Exchange Specialist Compensation and Benefits:
Vehicle Exchange Specialist Competitive Salary: Retail sales transactions sold by the Vehicle Exchange Specialist through the Trade Up Advantage Program will be paid as standard sales commissions. $300-$500 per unit purchased, based on cost to market percentage defined by vAuto. Average monthly earnings range from $7,000-$8,000.

Vehicle Exchange Specialist Responsibilities:

Soliciting new and pre-owned car purchases from service customers who are not shopping for a new vehicle.

Educating guests on the options available through Vehicle Exchange.

Follow up with service customers with emails, texts and calls about the exchange or extended warranty upgrade.

Responsible for daily, weekly and monthly reporting, including the setting of five (5) appointments per day.

Tracking all activity in our dealership CRM tool as well as our equity mining tool.

Inspire and excite Customers in the dealership with in-depth product information and insight.

Work closely with Service Advisors.

Satisfies the transportation needs of vehicle purchasers.

Approaches, greets, and offers assistance or direction to any customer who enters the dealership.

Assists customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.

Explains fully product performance, application, and benefits to prospects.

Describes all optional equipment available for customer purchase.

Offers test drives to all prospects. Follows dealership procedure to obtain proper identification from customer prior to test drive.

Utilizes dealership sales control and follow-up system.

Exhibits a high level of commitment to customer satisfaction.

Knows and understands the federal, state, and local laws which govern retail automobile sales.

Attends product and sales training courses as requested by sales manager.

Keeps abreast of new products, features, accessories, etc., and their benefits to customers.

Knows and understands equity and values and can explain depreciation to the customer.

Ensures that the sales manager has an opportunity to meet each customer.

Writes complete purchase orders and processes paperwork in accordance with established dealership policies.
Vehicle Exchange Specialist Qualifications:

Previous sales experience required

Excellent communication skills (including listening, writing, speaking).

Public relations skills. Ability to effectively establish rapport, present information and respond to questions from managers, customers and the general public.
