We are seeking an entry-level Collision Estimator to join our team in a front-end, floater role. This position is hourly and focuses on assisting walk-in customers and providing backup support to our commissioned estimators. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a willingness to learn, and an interest in continuing to grow their career in collision repair estimation. In addition, this role will involve obtaining pre-approvals from insurance companies and ensuring that estimates match initial approvals.

Collision Estimator Compensation and Benefits: 

Collision Estimator Competitive Salary: $31 per hour

Collision Estimator Responsibilities: 

  • Greet and assist walk-in customers, providing initial damage assessments.
  • Prepare front-end estimates using CCCOne or Mitchel.
  • Obtain pre-approvals from insurance companies and ensure that the estimates match initial approvals.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and commissioned estimators.
  • Learn and follow estimation and insurance requirements.
  • Provide excellent customer service throughout the estimation process.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed.

 

Collision Estimator Qualifications: 

  • At least one year of experience in a customer service and collision-related role is required.
  • Basic knowledge of collision repair processes is required.
  • General experience with CCCone estimating software is required.
  • Proficiency with computers and a strong ability to learn new software.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.
