Our Service Drive Assistants are responsible for moving and washing customer vehicles, ensuring they are in pristine condition. Maintain cleanliness throughout our facility by emptying trash cans in the service departments and shops and cleaning the customer lounge area. They will also support the Service Department with various tasks as needed, prioritizing exceptional customer service and fostering long-term client relationships that strengthen our "Believe in Nice" Culture.
Service Drive Assistant Compensation and Benefits:
Service Drive Assistant Competitive Pay: $18-$20 per hour, depending on experience. Full time.

Service Drive Assistant Responsibilities:

- Unlock/Open Gates
- Log into computer and print out schedule for the day
- Watch for vehicles to pull into parking lot and open garage doors
- Greet customer, find out if they have an appointment or if they are walking in. Direct them to assigned advisor or assign them to an advisor
- While advisor is checking in customer, porter checks the floor mats in vehicle
- Applies seat cover and paper floor mat during check in (prep vehicle)
- If needed, apply new maintenance sticker in window
- Hang keys on board according to the last 2 digits on key tag
- Check alignments on Hunter Network and report any red flags to advisors
- Shuttle any customers that need a ride within a 10 mile radius (unless approved to go further distance for special circumstances/customers)
- Pull up any rentals that are needed for customers
- When a rental returns, make sure that it has a full tank of gas. If not, get card from Dan (warranty administrator) and get it filled before taking it back to detail
- Gas up shuttle/parts vans before you leave, and gas up customer vehicles if needed/asked to do so
- Ask the parts department if they need any help. Ex. Bin counts, scrap parts, break down cardboard
- Schedule appointments for customers that have brought their vehicle here before
- Line up/organize rentals on lot
- Take vehicles to body shop/other dealerships if needed, and pick them up
- Pick up purchased vehicles from auctions and bring them back to dealership
- Drive to customers home/location to collect signatures if needed
- Let someone know if we are running low on seat covers/floor mats
- Pull customers vehicles up once finished and back it in
- Whenever driving a customer vehicle, rental, new or used vehicle, report to service/tech if something doesn't sound, feel, or look right
- Organize old/recent RO’s by advisors names.
- Scan paperwork
- Set up customers in rental vehicles- get proof of insurance/identification, go over policies, collect signatures
- Check rental in TSD Software when rental gets returned, give good look over, document any damages, gas it up, and give keys to detail
- Check in and write up of customer under 25k miles- express services, nails in tires and other express services when needed. Use of CDK tablets and software to claim ToyotaCare Services.
- Other responsibilities may be assigned by manager.
Service Drive Assistant Qualifications:

- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Physical ability to use computer hardware/software.
- Work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a positive attitude and ability to collaborate in a team-oriented process.
- Must maintain clean driving record and be insurable with company insurance.
- Sense of spacial orientation.
- Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
