Automotive Parts Counterperson

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with purchases, looking up information on manufactures’ sites, provide quotes by phone, e-mail and person to person.
• Assist looking up and ordering parts for technicians.
• Ensure part(s) are charged to repair orders.
• Complete sales transactions in accordance to company procedures.
• Maintain inventory on shelves and in bins by performing perpetual inventories. Reporting items, reporting any discrepancies in stock levels, and returning unsold items to stock.
• Requisition non-stock or special-order parts. Follow up on special ordered items, and notify the customer or technicians when received. Locate out-of-stock parts from outside sources and submit an emergency order, if necessary.

Qualifications:

• Experience with retail and wholesale sales.
• Strong communication skills, inter-personal and telephone skills.
• Excellent customer service skills, ability to demonstrate enthusiasm and positive attitude with customers and co-workers.
• Able to Multi Task
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated enthusiastic presence in a team environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Consistent and stable work history
• Rotating Saturday work schedule
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Pre-employment background check, and drug-screen required prior to being hired.
