Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements in accordance with manufacturer and internal deadlines
  • Oversee and execute payroll, daily accounting operations, and month-end close processes
  • Maintain compliance with manufacturer financial requirements (GM and Subaru)
  • Manage internal controls and support annual and surprise audits
  • Supervise accounting staff and ensure accuracy in schedules and reconciliations
  • Collaborate closely with department managers and report directly to the CFO
  • Provide financial guidance and support to ensure profitability and process improvement

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years in a high level accounting office manager or controller role in a retail automotive environment
  • Reynolds & Reynolds Ignite experience required
  • Manufacturer experience with General Motors a plus
  • In depth understanding of dealership accounting, including cost accounting, payroll, and cash flow management
  • Prior involvement with external audits and regulatory compliance
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Maintains a professional appearance and work ethic
  • Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and professional conduct
  • Possesses a positive and high-energy demeanor
  • Comfortable learning new technology and computer skills
  • Consistent work history
  • Must pass pre-employment screenings (background check and drug test)
