Responsibilities
- Participate in communicating repair plan to writers and management daily
- 100% disassembly, review supplement with writer, repair vehicles and final reassembly
- Repair collision damaged vehicles according to OEM specifications and Devoe standards, including AllData and I-CAR
- Plan with and update writers daily to ensure vehicle repairs occur in timely manner
- Stay up to date with required I-Car and Company Safety Training
- Maintains and wears all required safety and health personal equipment, including respirator, in the manner recommended by the equipment manufacturer.
- Maintains tools, shop equipment and work area
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 2 Years experience as a collision repair technician with heavy structural collision and frame experience is a plus.
- Ability to demonstrate and properly complete light to heavy repairs
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- ICAR, ASE or OEM certifications in auto body repair a plus
- Working knowledge of all aspects of repairs for damaged vehicles including bodywork and when to replace or repair parts
- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve
- Team mentality with ability to collaborate with others effectively
- Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must pass a background screening and have a clean driving record
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
