Position Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to be the heartbeat of our internal operations. In this role, you’ll do more than just manage paperwork—you’ll ensure our caregivers and administrative staff are supported, compliant, and empowered to deliver the best care possible.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, balances technical compliance with genuine empathy, and is passionate about building a workplace culture rooted in our D.E.S.I.R.E. values. If you are a problem-solver who enjoys variety and wants to make a tangible difference in the lives of others, we want to meet you.

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Record Integrity: Maintain and audit employee files, ensuring all certifications, licenses, and background checks are 100% current.

  • Regulatory Guard: Keep us ahead of the curve on federal, state, and local employment laws and home care regulations.

  • Audit Readiness: Leading the charge in preparing for inspections and reporting, ensuring we are always "survey-ready."

  • Development Tracking: Monitor and document caregiver field training and internal staff compliance to keep our team's skills sharp.

Recruitment & Staffing

  • Talent Sourcing: Partner with the team to find, screen, and welcome high-quality caregivers and administrative pros.

  • Onboarding Excellence: Own the new-hire experience—from background checks and credentialing to orientation and scheduling.

  • Strategic Support: Collaborate with the Care Coordination team to ensure our staffing rosters meet the evolving needs of our clients.

Employee Relations & Support

  • Staff Advocate: Serve as the first point of contact for questions regarding policies, benefits, and the "how-tos" of working with us.

  • Coaching & Growth: Support performance management by coordinating documentation and helping managers deliver constructive coaching.

  • Culture Champion: Drive engagement initiatives that foster an inclusive, high-energy, and positive workplace.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field (or equivalent "in-the-trenches" experience).

  • At least 3 years of HR experience—bonus points if you’ve worked in healthcare or home care.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience navigating payroll/timekeeping systems.

  • A solid grasp of employment law and HR compliance standards.

  • Exceptional discretion and the ability to handle sensitive information with a "people-first" perspective.

Required Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, and negotiation abilities.

  • Proven time management and organizational skills.

  • Analytical thinking and effective problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR-related systems.

  • Understanding of healthcare-related HR standards is a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.

What We Offer

  • Competitive Pay: Earn between $25–$35/hour, based on your experience and expertise.

  • Comprehensive Health Benefits: Access to Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance plans to keep you and your family healthy.

  • Invested in Your Future: Secure your retirement with our 401(k) plan.

  • Work-Life Harmony: Rejuvenate with Paid Time Off (PTO) and a collaborative office culture that respects your time.

  • Professional Growth: We invest in our own. You’ll have access to ongoing training and development opportunities to advance your HR career.

  • Join a mission-driven team that actually lives by its values (D.E.S.I.R.E.) and treats every employee with the same compassion we show our clients.
