Automotive Technician - C Tech

DePaula Ford is looking for a C Level technician. Candidate will be responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. Candidates who have NYS Inspectors License and/or ASE Certifications are preferred and candidates must have their own tools. Job Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing - you will be required to provide a driver's abstract
• Must be computer literate 
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend written instructions
• Ability to learn new technology
• At least six months of automotive experience in a production environment
• Ability to lift 50 pounds

Responsibilities Include:

Making minor adjustments and repairs on equipment
Checking equipment for defects (such as cracked or broken hoses or belts, worn tires, and inoperative lights)
Removing and replacing batteries
Test driving vehicles to assure proper working order
Cleaning vehicles
Cleaning the garage area and maintaining shop equipment
Disassembling and cleaning vehicle parts

 

Compensation:

Flat Rate, $20-$30 per hour
Weekly Pay
