Automotive Service Advisor (full-time)

🚗 WE’RE HIRING: AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE ADVISOR!

Are you great with people, knowledgeable about cars, and confident helping customers understand what their vehicle needs then join DePaula Chevrolet as a full-time Automotive Service Advisor in Albany, NY. In this role, you will be the key point of contact between our customers and the service department, ensuring a smooth and positive experience. You’ll work closely with technicians and customers to understand vehicle issues, provide accurate information, and facilitate timely repairs and maintenance services.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers promptly and professionally, both in person and over the phone.
• Assess customer vehicle needs and communicate effectively with service technicians.
• Prepare and explain repair estimates and service recommendations to customers.
• Schedule service appointments and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Manage service orders and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
• Handle customer concerns and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
• Support the service department by coordinating workflow and maintaining strong communication among team members.

Requirements:

• 2 years previous experience in Automotive Service Advisor Role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of automotive systems and terminology is a plus.
• Proficient with computer systems and software for managing service orders.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Valid NYS driver’s license and clean driving abstract.

Expected yearly compensation of $75,000 to $110,000
