Express Automotive Service Technician

DePaula Ford is seeking driven technicians to join our team. Candidates should have their own tools and must have at least 6 months of relevant experience. We offer great benefits to our service technicians, some of which are outlined below. 

Responsibilities include:

• Performing requested repair work in a productive & efficient manner in accordance with dealership policies
• Performing Oil Changes & Quick Lubes in an efficient manner
• Performing Tire Changeovers & Wheel Balancing
• Test to check whether systems & components are secure & in proper working order
• Maintain efficiency & accuracy in diagnosing as well as repairing vehicles
• Providing the Service Advisor with an estimate of any additional repairs needed

Job Requirements:

• Must be computer literate
• Must have a valid driver’s license and provide management with a DMV Drivers Abstract
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
• Must have a NYS Inspector's License 
• Ability to learn new technology & repair procedures
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Compensation:

• Weekly Pay
• $20-25 per flat rate hour
• Monthly bonus incentives
