This is a great opportunity for an A or B-level technician looking for a stable, well-equipped shop with a strong customer base and steady workflow. You’ll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Ford Vehicles, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Ford Certified Automotive Technician Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair various automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, brakes, suspension, HVAC, and more

Perform thorough inspections and identify potential issues or safety concerns

Accurately document work performed and parts used in dealership systems

Communicate clearly with service advisors about findings, estimates, and repair timelines

Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs to manufacturer specifications

Maintain up-to-date knowledge through Ford certification programs and technical bulletins

Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, professional work area

Support less experienced technicians and foster a collaborative team environment
Ford Certified Automotive Technician Qualifications

Certifications: Ford or Lincoln Certification is REQUIRED

Experience: 2-3 years of experience in automotive diagnostics and repair

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required

Technical Skills: Strong understanding of diagnostic tools, service software, and repair procedures

Work Ethic: Dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to quality workmanship

Communication: Able to communicate clearly with both teammates and customers

Team Player: Willing to collaborate and assist with shop-wide goals

License: Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
