Private Pay Intake Specialist

Damascus Home Care LLC is seeking a motivated, outgoing, and results-driven Private Pay Intake Specialist to join our team as an outside sales representative. This position plays a vital role in helping individuals and families navigate private-pay services while expanding our client base throughout Maine. The role requires extensive travel across the state and involves building meaningful relationships with clients, families, referral sources, and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Conduct private-pay intake and enrollment with prospective clients and families.
• Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources, community organizations, healthcare professionals, and other potential partners.
• Generate new private-pay leads through networking, outreach, marketing, and community engagement.
• Follow up with prospective clients and referral sources to convert inquiries, leads, and referrals into new clients.
• Represent the organization professionally at community events, meetings, and networking opportunities.
• Educate prospective clients and families about available services, benefits, and payment options.
• Maintain accurate intake records and follow established admission procedures.
• Meet established sales, marketing, and intake goals.
• Travel throughout Maine as needed to meet with clients, families, referral partners, and community organizations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition from inquiry to admission.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the intake process.

Requirements

• Previous experience in sales and marketing is required.
• Experience in healthcare, home care, senior care, behavioral health, social services, or a related industry is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to generate leads and convert prospects into clients.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
• Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
• Professional demeanor and strong customer-service mindset.
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation are required.
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout the entire state of Maine.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team.
