Maintenance Assistant (Floor Tech)

We are looking for Maintenance Assistants (Floor Tech) to become part of our facility's compassionate care-giving team!

Floor Techs - Part Time Weekends

The Job

The Maintenance Assistant will support the and assist in development and implement the communities’ maintenance policies and procedures in an efficient, cost-effective manner to safely meet residents' needs in compliance with federal, state and local requirements

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a skilled nursing facility setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Prior experience in a healthcare environment (minimum of 1 year); preferably in long term care
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
• Supportive and compassionate
• Take pride in providing high quality care

Must-Haves for Role

• High school diploma or GED
• Technical school achievement a plus
• Hospital or healthcare experience for at least 1 year in maintenance a plus
