You’ll join a service department where people help each other, communicate clearly, and share knowledge. Your ideas matter, and your contributions make a visible impact.
What You'll Do
You’ll work on a wide range of vehicles and systems, including Class 6, 7, 8 & 9 trucks, school buses, and passenger buses across brands like Cummins, International, IC Bus, Fleetrite, and others.
Daily responsibilities include:
- Reviewing work orders, assessing vehicle needs & planning repairs
- Running diagnostic tests & interpreting results
- Inspecting systems including electrical, suspensions & steering
- Repairing or replacing transmissions, brakes, engines & related components
- Performing alignments, oil changes, wheel balancing & brake checks
- Test-driving repaired vehicles to verify performance
- Maintaining accurate documentation (the 3 Cs: Complaint, Cause, Correction)
- Communicating additional needed repairs to the service consultant
- Keeping workspaces clean, safe, & organized
- Following OEM procedures & warranty documentation requirements
- Updating repair advocates, case files, and supervisors through your shift
- Completing OEM training & ongoing technical education

Qualifications

- 2+ years’ experience with diesel engines (Cummins, Detroit & CAT a plus)
- ASE certifications & OEM training a plus (training provided)
- A roll cart & tools recommended
- Strong communication & teamwork mindset
- Valid driver’s license; ability to obtain CDL
- Ability to pass a background check, MVR, drug screen, and preemployment testing

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stoop, bend, climb, crawl, lift (up to 75 lbs), & work in various temperatures
