Maintenance Tech

The Maintenance Tech at Cooper Street Capital is responsible for performing a variety of duties related to maintenance, repair, and general upkeep of our properties. This includes identifying and resolving issues, conducting regular maintenance inspections, and responding to service requests in a timely manner. Full Time.

Responsibilities:

• Perform regular maintenance inspections and identify any issues or necessary repairs
• Respond to service requests from tenants and address any maintenance or repair issues
• Complete repairs and general upkeep tasks, including plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry work
• Work on Make Ready units to ensure they are completed prior to new tenant move ins
• Additional Maintenance needs: resurfacing, appliance repair, landscaping, general handyman work, etc
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities performed
• Ensure the safety and cleanliness of all common areas and grounds

Requirements:

• Prior experience in maintenance or a related field is preferred
• Strong knowledge of building systems and general repair techniques
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Physical stamina and strength to handle manual labor tasks
  • Must be able to carry, push, pull, and transport at least 5 – 50 lbs
  • Must be able to stand for 2-8 hours at a time.  Must be bale to walk for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to kneel, crouch, crawl, and work in small places.  Ie: under sinks, in maintenance closets, etc. Must be able to climb ladders.
  • Good hand and finger dexterity for use of specialized equipment.
  • Ability to work in multiple temperature extremities depending on seasonal needs.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
