Position Summary

Join an interdisciplinary team as a Full-Time Occupational Therapist, delivering clinical care focused on empowering residents to improve their daily functioning, safety, and quality of life. You will work directly with residents, their families, and care team members to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.


Key Responsibilities

  • Consult with residents to evaluate their physical status and impact on daily occupations and quality of life

  • Interpret assessment findings to develop personalized treatment plans using therapeutic techniques to improve ADL and IADL performance

  • Evaluate home environments and recommend modifications or adaptive equipment as needed

  • Deliver skilled OT treatments and ensure adherence to the plan of care

  • Monitor treatment effectiveness, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to adjust approaches clinically

  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers

  • Complete timely documentation in compliance with facility, state, and federal regulations

  • Attend meetings as directed by the Director of Rehab and adhere to policies and procedures


Qualifications & Skills

  • Active, valid Occupational Therapy license in Texas; in good standing with regulatory boards

  • Experience in skilled nursing facilities (SNF) or longterm care settings preferred

  • Knowledge of treatment best practices and safety protocols

  • Familiarity with Net Health electronic documentation system is a plus

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to manage a variety of patient needs and personalities
