POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Covert Buick GMC, you’ll serve as the essential link between our dealership and prospective customers. Your role is to build trust, answer product and purchasing questions, and schedule appointments that lead to exciting vehicle-buying experiences. You'll be the first impression of our brand—welcoming, knowledgeable, and responsive.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Respond to inbound leads and inquiries via phone, email, and text

  • Make proactive outbound calls to follow up on leads and schedule appointments

  • Qualify prospective customers and connect them with the appropriate sales team member

  • Provide accurate, engaging information about vehicle availability, features, and promotions

  • Ensure all customer interactions are logged and updated in the CRM

  • Maintain professionalism and strong communication in all customer touch points

  • Stay informed about current inventory and dealership processes

  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure seamless customer experience

  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly appointment-setting goals

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Friendly, polished, and professional phone presence

  • Basic computer proficiency; experience with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms preferred

  • Strong time management and multitasking abilities

  • High level of organization and attention to detail

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

  • Previous customer service, sales, or automotive experience is a plus!
