Custodian

Position Summary

Courtesy Tucson is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment throughout the dealership. This position is responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of customer areas, offices, service departments, restrooms, and exterior grounds. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining a welcoming environment for customers and employees.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain showroom floors, customer lounges, offices, conference rooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors and surfaces throughout the dealership.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and restock supplies as needed.
• Empty trash and recycling containers throughout the facility.
• Clean interior and exterior glass, windows, doors, and entryways.
• Maintain service department waiting areas, break rooms, and employee facilities.
• Assist with dealership event setup and cleanup when needed.
• Perform light building maintenance, including changing light bulbs and reporting repair needs.
• Maintain cleanliness of exterior areas, including sidewalks, parking lots, and customer entrances.
• Operate cleaning equipment and safely handle cleaning chemicals.
• Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or facility maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Frequently stand, walk, bend, reach, kneel, and lift throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to push, pull, and move cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
