What You’ll Do

• Administer Medications: Safely provide medications according to physician orders, residents’ care plans, and applicable regulations.

• Maintain Accurate Records: Document medication administration clearly and correctly.

• Monitor Well-Being: Observe residents for changes, side effects, or concerns and report them promptly.

• Support Daily Living: Assist residents with personal needs while protecting their dignity and independence.

• Build Connections: Develop meaningful relationships with residents, families, and team members.

• Create a Positive Environment: Bring compassion, patience, and positive energy to each shift.

What You’ll Bring

• Required Credentials: Meet Nebraska's applicable medication aide training, competency, and registry requirements.

• Communication Skills: Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and team members.

• Attention to Detail: Follow medication procedures carefully and maintain accurate documentation.

• Basic Computer Skills: Use electronic systems for medication tracking and documentation.

• Heart for Seniors: Have a genuine interest in helping older adults live their best lives.

• Dependability: Be available to work evening shifts, every other weekend, and holidays as scheduled.
