Pre-Weigher / Material Handler

Job Title: Pre-Weigher/ Material Handler

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Identify raw materials’ names and quantities required to pre-weigh formulas.
• Clean and sanitize storage containers and utensils in order to pre-weigh raw materials following good SOP’s and GMP’s.
• Keep pre-weight area clean and organized.
• Record raw materials lot numbers and correct amounts in batch card sheets.
• Pull raw materials from warehouse and organize them in designated areas.
• Enter raw materials’ information in operating system, Netsuite.
• Perform raw material transfers in Netsuite from warehouse locations to pre-weight locations.
• Keep inventory updated.
• Make use of FIFO inventory.
• Notify when raw materials are running low.
• Notify when supplies are running low.
• Assist compounders in the batching room.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma with two years of experience in related duties.
• Forklift certified.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to communicate well; preferably bilingual, English and Spanish.
• Ability to perform the job in a safe manner.
• Knowledgeable in math, able to work with decimal numbers.
• Able to distinguish the different weight’s measurements (kg, grams, pounds, liters, ml, etc).
• Able to manage heavy weights
• The person must be able to push and pull up to 250 kg drums (550 lbs).
• The candidate must be able to carry 25 kg objects (55 lbs).
• The candidate must be able to climb ladders.
• Team player.
• Collaborative and friendly.
