Automotive Glass Installer - First Texas Honda

First Texas Honda is looking for an experienced Automotive Glass Installer to join the team! This individual must be a highly motivated individual who will repair or replace the windshields as well as door and quarter glasses on customers’ vehicles. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, as you will be notifying customers of various issues that may affect insulation, removing damaged glass without causing further damage to the vehicle, and keeping the customer informed during the repair process.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Removing damaged glass, installing new glass, and ensuring the proper fit and alignment.

• Applying seals and weatherstrips to prevent leaks.

• Ensure the proper safety protocols are followed.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

• Completing necessary paperwork.

• Remove all dirt and debris from windshields and windows before beginning the repair.

• Quality control testing, including water and wind testing, post-installation.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience with high-volume glass installation required.

• Honda-specific experience and/or experience with a large variety of makes and models preferred. 

• Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, glass types, and installation techniques.

• Ability to diagnose issues and determine appropriate solutions.

• Attention to detail with precision and accuracy.

• Must have held a valid driver’s license for at least 1 year.

• Must be at least 18 years of age to be considered.

Shop Hours:

• Flexibility in scheduling within the hours of 6:30 am - 8:00 pm Monday through Friday, 7:00 am - 6:00 pm Saturday, and 8:00 am - 3:30 pm Sunday.

• This is a full-time position.

Compensation:

• Competitive production-based pay plans starting at $25/flag hour.
