Accounts Receivable Collections Manager

The Accounts Receivable (AR) Supervisor will be responsible for managing the full cycle AR  process. Managing the monthly resident billing and collections of resident receivables.  Reporting on AR collections and AR Aging will be the responsibility of the AR Supervisor.  

Qualifications 

• 5 Years of Accounts Receivable work experience 

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred 

• Strong knowledge of debits, credits, and account reconciliation 

• Proficiency in using Yardi accounting software preferred 

• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data • Strong attention to detail and accuracy 

• Exceptional organizational and time management skills 

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Areas of Primary Responsibility 

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Receivable Team

• Complete accurate and timely monthly resident billing 

• Set up resident move-ins for each community 

• Process resident move-outs for each community  

• Complete monthly PACE billing on an accurate and timely basis 

• Record resident payments for the resident billing 

• Monitor past due accounts; making recommendations for sending accounts to collection  agencies or engaging legal services to assist in the collection on past due accounts • Periodic reporting on Accounts Receivable 

• AR Aging by community, by fund, by owner 

• AR collection reporting 

• AR analysis on past due accounts  

• Community Scholarship reporting 

• In this position, the Accounts Receivable Supervisor will be performing in a dual capacity

     o Managing the Accounts Receivable Specialists on the AR Team 

o Performing many of the same tasks of an Accounts Receivable Specialist (see  Accounts Receivable Specialist Job Description for further information) 

• Resident Account Reconciliations 

• Assist in providing information requested from internal/external audits • Special Projects as requested 

Physical/Sensory Requirements 

This is a stationary position – requires minimal lifting and sitting over 50% of the time. This  position offers a hybrid work schedule.
