Description of the role:

The certified caregiver at Comfort Keepers in Southern Pines, North Carolina will be responsible for providing quality, compassionate one-on-one care to client in a facility. The caregiver will assist with daily living activities, following the care plan, and ensure the well-being of client. 12 hour shifts - 8am-8pm / 8pm-8am.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care tasks
• Dementia experience preferred
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Keep accurate records of care provided

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a caregiving role 6mo-1yr, companion or skilled
• PCA and CNA skill levels also desired
• Strong communication skills, Ability to work independently 
• Valid Driver's license and car insurance 
• Willing to submit to background and Drug screens
• Compassionate and empathetic nature
