Shift Lead – Coastal Car Wash (Pawleys Island, SC)

Coastal Car Wash, a sister company of Coastal Chevrolet Cadillac Nissan, is a state-of-the-art car wash located in Pawleys Island, SC. We’re currently seeking a Full-Time Shift Lead who must be 18 years or older and available to work weekday afternoons, evenings, and weekends on a rotating schedule.

We’re looking for a dependable and motivated leader with prior management or supervisory experience who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Car wash experience is not required—we’ll provide full training! Coastal Car Wash is family-owned and dedicated to delivering the best customer experience possible in a clean, fun, and energetic workplace.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support team members during assigned shifts to ensure smooth daily operations.

• Guide cars into the wash area with a focused and friendly demeanor.

• Ensure all employees follow proper procedures and safety guidelines.

• Handle customer questions or concerns professionally to ensure satisfaction.

• Assist with daily equipment checks and maintenance to keep everything in top working order.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the property, including vacuums and trash areas.

• Communicate effectively with management about staffing, maintenance, or customer issues.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support overall operations.

Requirements:

• Previous management or leadership experience is required.

• Must be available to work weekday afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

• Full-time position with flexible scheduling (Monday–Saturday 7 AM–8 PM; Sunday 9 AM–8 PM).

• Must be 18 years or older.

• Must pass a drug test and background check.

• Able to stand, crouch, and walk for long periods and work in all weather conditions.

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and reliable transportation required.
