Position Overview
We are seeking a Sales Manager at Club Pilates Towne Lake to drive new member acquisition and ensure our studio achieves its membership growth targets. This role is perfect for a motivated individual passionate about fitness, sales, and community-building. As the Sales Manager, you will be the face of the studio for prospective members, guiding them through the sales process and converting leads into loyal clients. You will work closely with the General Manager, who focuses on member retention, to create a thriving studio environment.
This is a full-time position offering a competitive hourly wage plus commission and is ideal for individuals who have been dedicated to Club Pilates for at least two years.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership
- Actively drive new membership sales through studio tours, trial sessions, and follow-ups.
- Convert leads into paying members via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Develop and execute strategies to exceed monthly sales goals.
- Execute corporate intro processes.
Lead Generation
- Generate and cultivate new leads through community outreach, partnerships, and events.
- Collaborate with the marketing team and General Manager to implement campaigns and promotions.
- Maintain accurate lead databases and ensure timely follow-ups using the Club Ready system.
Sales Process & Customer Experience
- Clearly communicate the benefits of Club Pilates memberships and offerings.
- Guide prospects through membership options and address objections to help them commit to their fitness goals.
- Utilize upselling techniques for intro packages, retail, and other studio services.
Collaboration & Performance Tracking
- Meet weekly with the General Manager to review performance metrics and adjust strategies.
- Participate in bi-weekly meetings with the Regional Manager for sales performance evaluation and coaching.
- Prepare and submit weekly sales performance reports using the ASM - KPI scoresheet.
What We Expect
- Work a minimum of 30 hours per week, including evenings and weekends to accommodate peak sales times.
- Maintain a positive, high-energy attitude to create a welcoming atmosphere for new members.
- Continuously seek innovative sales strategies to attract and convert leads.
- Be proactive and consistent in follow-ups to maximize conversion rates.
Qualifications
- Employment Requirement: Must have been employed with Club Pilates for at least 2 years and currently work at least 25 hours per week, OR have 2 years of fitness management experience elsewhere.
- Proven track record in sales, preferably within a fitness or health/wellness environment.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on exceeding performance targets.
- Proficiency in Club Ready or similar CRM systems for lead tracking and sales management.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently while collaborating with a team.
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly Pay: Competitive, based on experience and performance.
