Job Responsibilities:

The position will provide excellent customer service for our customers that will include answering phones, scheduling appointments, and updates to client files. This is a busy home design office and attention to detail is an important part of this position.

 

Specific Duties Include:

  • Answer customer inquiries on the telephone and by email.
  • Extensive problem-solving, order processing, and communication with customers as well as internal departments.
  • Schedule services and coordinate schedules with the Install Department
  • Update file with all customer interactions recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as resolutions.
  • Follow up to ensure that appropriate changes were made to resolve customers' problems.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Computer proficiency, especially with Microsoft Office
  • Previous customer service experience in an office setting
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal/written).
  • Proper phone etiquette
  • Prior exposure to and use of Customer Relations Management Software

 

Previous customer service experience with a home improvement company is a Plus!
