Sales Manager

Closets by Design – Milwaukee is looking for an experienced and goal-oriented Sales Manager to support and develop our growing sales team.  The ideal candidate will have experience in both sales and sales management, with the ability to lead, mentor, and develop a sales team to achieve company goals.  This position is a full-time, inside management position.

Closets by Design is a nationally recognized leader in home organizing systems.  We design, manufacture, and install a complete line of custom closets, home office furniture, media systems, wall beds, pantries, garage cabinetry, and more.  We desire motivated, organized, caring individuals who have a passion to provide outstanding craftsmanship and superior customer service.

Closets by Design has been in business for nearly 40 years with locations across the US and Canada. Closets by Design – Milwaukee is the first franchise in the state of WI.  Our office and showroom is located in Mequon, WI.  We service customers throughout the state of WI.

What We’re Looking For:

Our Sales Manager will manage all aspects of the sales department. Responsibilities include:

• Managing and leading sales team with an average of 15-20 salespeople
• Recruiting and hiring new salespeople to meet hiring goals
• Facilitating training in both one-on-one and group settings for new salespeople and the sales team
• Running monthly sales meeting to communicate goals and strategies to the team
• Working with upper management to develop new initiatives and incentives to meet company goals

Position Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of previous sales management experience
• A personal sales background with experience working directly with consumers
• Must be able to multitask and be highly organized
• Commitment to follow our proven, successful sales model
• Goal oriented and a positive attitude towards achievement
• Great communication (written and verbal) and coordination skills
• Computer savvy with working knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs
• Retail sales and management a plus but not necessary
