.Job Summary: 

We are seeking a highly creative and results-driven Interior Design Manager to lead our design team and drive sales efforts at a leading cabinet manufacturer. This role combines interior design expertise with strong sales acumen, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction while meeting business goals. The ideal candidate will manage projects, guide customers through the design process, and promote our products while building lasting relationships. 

Key Responsibilities: 

1. Interior Design & Project Management 

  • Lead the design process for custom cabinetry, including kitchens, bathrooms, closets, and other spaces. 

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, functional requirements, and budget to create tailored designs. 

 
  • Utilize CAD software or design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, 2020 Design) to create detailed layouts, renderings, and specifications. 

  • Coordinate with production teams to ensure designs are feasible, accurate, and aligned with manufacturing capabilities. 

  • Oversee multiple projects from concept to installation, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met. 

  • Stay updated on design trends, materials, finishes, and cabinetry innovations to provide creative, cutting-edge solutions. 

2. Sales & Client Relations 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring a seamless and positive experience from initial consultation to project completion. 

  • Conduct design consultations, site visits, and presentations to showcase design concepts and product options. 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with homeowners, contractors, builders, and interior designers to generate leads and grow sales. 

  • Prepare quotes, proposals, and contracts based on design specifications and customer budgets. 

  • Cross-sell and upsell complementary products, such as countertops, hardware, and finishes, to maximize revenue. 

3. Team Leadership 

  • Manage and mentor a team of interior designers, ensuring high-quality work and professional development. 

  • Establish and enforce design standards, processes, and best practices across the team. 

  • Collaborate with the sales, production, and marketing teams to align efforts and achieve business goals. 

  • Provide training on design software, customer service, and sales strategies as needed. 

4. Marketing & Business Development 

  • Partner with the marketing team to develop design-focused content, such as portfolio showcases, social media posts, and promotional materials. 

  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote products and services. 

  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and innovation. 

 Qualifications: 

Education & Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field (preferred). 

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in interior design, sales, or cabinetry design (cabinet manufacturing experience is a plus). 

  • Proven success in managing design projects and achieving sales targets. 

Skills & Competencies 

  • Proficiency in design software, such as 2020 Design, AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools. 

  • Strong sales skills, with the ability to identify client needs, present solutions, and close deals. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships. 

  • Creative problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and design aesthetics. 

  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously. 

Additional Requirements 

  • Knowledge of cabinetry manufacturing processes, materials, and finishes is a plus. 

  • A valid driver’s license for client site visits and meetings.
