Install Manager
Job Type: Full Time
Pay: $60,000 to $75,000+ depending on experience
Position Summary
Fast growing custom closet and home organization company is looking for an experienced Install Manager to oversee daily installation operations and services calls. This position is responsible for managing installation crews, scheduling jobs, ensuring quality installations, resolving customer issues, coordinating service work, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
• Manage and schedule installation crews
• Review jobs prior to installation to ensure materials, drawings, and hardware are correct
• Manage installer performance, productivity, attendance, and quality
• Perform jobsite inspections and quality control checks
• Troubleshoot installation issues and coordinate solutions
• Manage manager services, including service calls, repairs, adjustments, warranty work, and customer follow up
• Schedule and assign service work based on urgency and technician availability
• Communicate with customers regarding installation schedules, delays, service issues, and concerns
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally
• Coordinate reworks and service calls to ensure issues are resolved quickly and correctly
• Track installation and service completion, labor hours, and job profitability
• Train and develop installation and service team members
• Ensure installers follow company installation standards and safety procedures
• Work closely with production and warehouse teams to ensure jobs are ready for installation
• Identify recurring installation and service issues and implement process improvements
Required Qualifications
• Previous management experience is required
• Previous installation experience is required
• Experience managing installation crews or field service teams
• Strong organizational and scheduling skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to read drawings and installation plans
• Strong problem solving and decision making skills
• Comfortable managing multiple crews and jobs simultaneously
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to visit job-sites and assist with installation and service troubleshooting when needed

• Custom closets or cabinetry
