Job Description

Cloninger Ford of Morganton is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Automotive Detailer to join our service team. This position plays a key role in the preparation and presentation of both new and pre-owned vehicles. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work and have a strong eye for cleanliness, finishing, and efficiency.

Job Type & Schedule

Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: 5 Days a week (Saturday’s included)
Work Requirements:

• Work Schedule: 8-hour shifts

• Ability to Commute: Morganton, NC (Required)

• Work Location: In person

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and detail the interior and exterior of new and used vehicles

• Perform vehicle washes, waxing, polishing, vacuuming, window cleaning, and tire dressing

• Inspect finished vehicles to ensure quality and cleanliness standards are met

• Identify and report any cosmetic issues to the service or reconditioning team

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the detail area and equipment

• Follow all safety and chemical handling procedures

• Support the dealership in preparing vehicles for showroom, delivery, or lot display

Qualifications

• Previous automotive detail experience preferred

• Must be dependable, punctual, and take pride in work quality

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

• Strong attention to detail and consistency

• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
