Qualifications of a Parts Driver
- Prior experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Excellent customer service skills
- Capable of heavy lifting and moving automotive parts
- Familiarity with forklift operation is advantageous
- This position requires the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adhere to delivery schedules
Responsibilities of a Parts Driver
- Check in the parts order, tires, oil,etc. Accurately receive parts on Dealertrack.com
- Put away stock order, tires, oils.
- Other duties will be such as bin checks, bin clean up, trash taking out during down time.
- Safely and efficiently deliver parts to designated locations
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
- Load and unload parts into the delivery vehicle
- Keep accurate records of deliveries and customer interactions
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks such as checking oil, fuel, and tire pressure
