Job Summary
Chris Auffenberg Ford is seeking an Automotive Body Shop Technician to join our dynamic team of auto repair professionals. The Automotive Body Shop Technician will be responsible for completing a wide variety of repairs on vehicles, including body, and paint work. The Technician will work as part of a team to ensure customer satisfaction and increase customer loyalty by providing excellent service and quality repairs in a timely manner.

Responsibilities
• Perform a full range of bodywork repairs
• Paint surfaces and blend color to match existing finishes • Dismantle and reassemble damaged body parts
• Repairs, replace, and adjust glass windows, lights, and handle and body trim
• Assesses damaged vehicles to determine repairs needed
• Diagnose and troubleshoot various issues and solve complex problems
• Perform miscellaneous duties as needed

Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as an automotive body technician
• Ability to use hand tools and perform basic welding
• Knowledge of automotive construction, design, and service
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to operate a range of specialized auto body repair equipment
• A valid driver’s license and own tools
