Automotive Lube Technician

Job Summary:
Chris Auffenberg Ford in Washington, MO is seeking a skilled Automotive Lube Technician to join our team. This is a full-time, hourly position in the auto industry, with the opportunity for growth and competitive compensation. As a Lube Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, oil changes, and other basic services on vehicles to ensure they are performing at their best.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
- Inspect vehicles to identify any potential issues and make recommendations for necessary repairs
- Keep accurate records of all services performed on each vehicle
- Communicate with customers in a professional and friendly manner to explain services and answer any questions
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment in accordance with safety procedures
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Follow all dealership and manufacturer guidelines and protocols

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience as an Automotive Lube Technician preferred, but not required
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics
- Proficient in basic computer skills
- Must have own tools
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
