 Job-Specific Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • Have and maintain a good driving record.
  • Have a current driver's license.
  • Must be able to obtain a Maryland Salesperson's License.
  • Able to communicate in a clear and precise manner.
  • Able to generate enthusiasm when demonstrating products.
  • Must interact professionally with all dealership personnel.
  • Must record and maintain customer contacts and prospects administratively following company guidelines.
  • Must keep Customer Satisfaction scores at or above the market area.
  • Writes complete sales orders and processes paperwork in accordance with established dealership policies

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet all customers online or on-site in a prompt, courteous manner.
  • Handle all telephone and email requests in a timely fashion according to standards.
  • Understands automobiles by studying characteristics, capabilities, and features, and comparing competitive models.
  • Demonstrate vehicles by explaining aspects, abilities, and features.
  • Provides sales management information by completing reports and updating CRM.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications.
  • Enhances dealership reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. To fill a need, create a desire, and trigger a sense of urgency in all prospects.
  • To prospect and follow up according to standards.
  • Delivers vehicles to customers, ensuring that the customer understands the vehicle's operating features, warranty, and paperwork.
