What You'll Do
As an Automotive Sales Consultant, you'll create an exceptional buying experience while helping customers find the perfect Acura to fit their lifestyle and needs.
Responsibilities include:
  • Welcome and assist customers in a professional, friendly, and consultative manner.
  • Build relationships by understanding each customer's wants, needs, and budget.
  • Present and demonstrate Acura vehicles with confidence and enthusiasm.
  • Explain vehicle features, technology, financing, leasing, warranties, and ownership benefits.
  • Guide customers through the entire sales process from initial contact through vehicle delivery.
  • Follow up after the sale to ensure customer satisfaction and encourage repeat and referral business.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and consistently follow up with prospects.
  • Stay current on Acura products, technology, market trends, and competitor vehicles.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales, customer satisfaction, and performance goals.
What We're Looking For

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous automotive sales experience is preferred but not required.
  • Retail, hospitality, wireless, real estate, or other commission sales experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Competitive, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable learning new technology and dealership software.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to obtain a Maryland Salesperson's License.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly to phone, email, internet, and showroom inquiries.
  • Demonstrate Acura vehicles while highlighting features, safety, and technology.
  • Maintain detailed customer records within the dealership CRM.
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately and efficiently.
  • Deliver sold vehicles while ensuring customers fully understand vehicle operation, warranties, and ownership features.
  • Participate in ongoing product knowledge and professional development training.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction scores that meet or exceed dealership standards.
  • Represent Chevy Chase Acura with professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm every day.
