Parts Counterperson

In this position, you will assist customers by providing expert knowledge on parts and inventory, handling sales transactions, and maintaining accurate records to support service operations. Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers by identifying their parts needs and providing accurate information.
• Process parts orders, returns, and exchanges efficiently using inventory management systems.
• Maintain organized and accurate inventory records.
• Collaborate with service technicians to ensure timely availability of parts.
• Manage stock levels by receiving shipments and replenishing inventory as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Requirements

• Previous experience in automotive parts sales or related field preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to use computer systems and inventory software effectively.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of automotive parts and terminology is a plus.
• Lift up to 50 pounds. 
• valid drivers license
