Automotive Service and Parts Advisor

H&K Chevrolet of New Haven Inc. is a family owned, family operated dealership located in growing New Haven, IN right off of IN-930. We are looking to add to our customer service team in our repair department. This position is a fast paced, customer focused, on your feet role. The position is responsible to answering phones, scheduling service visits, checking vehicles in upon arrival, notifying customers when their vehicles have been completed, and assisting technicians with their paperwork.  The position also includes assisting in the parts department if and when needed.  Pulling parts for technicians, looking up parts on the parts catalog, stocking and taking inventory and keeping the department clean and organized. This position does not require prior experience in the automotive field, but it is helpful.  The position does require an energetic, customer focused, and team work mentality. H&K will supply all the needed training to get the right candidate comfortable in their new environment. You show up with a great attitude and willingness to learn, H&K will give you the rest.  

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive hourly wages between $18 - $25 per hour
• Opportunities for commission
• Paid weekly

• Provide exceptional customer service to customers of H&K Chevrolet of New Haven, Inc.
• Respond to customer inquiries and offer support solutions
• Work closely with the service team to ensure customer satisfaction

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to develop trusting relationships with customers
• Solid understanding of customer service and conflict resolution
• Ability to multi-task and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High school diploma or GED

• Prior automotive knowledge not required but is a plus
