Description of the role:

The service porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the service department of Chevrolet GMC of Corsicana. They play a vital role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the overall efficiency of the service operations.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Park and retrieve vehicles in designated areas
• Maintain the cleanliness of the service department, including the waiting area and restrooms
• Assist technicians by moving vehicles in and out of service bays
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as checking tire pressure and fluid levels
• Deliver vehicles to customers upon completion of service
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in a similar role preferred
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
