What: We are looking for caregivers to help care for clients (mainly fragile, ill, disabled, and/or elderly), one-on-one, in their homes. 

When: 1st &/or 2nd shifts.

Where: Clients are located throughout eastern Eastern Cuyahoga, Lake, Geauga, northern Portage and northern Summit Counties.

Pay: $16.00 starting pay. $1-$2 pay differential for short shifts (shifts 2-3 hours in length). Numerous ways to advance & make more $$$!

How: Apply online and then check your email.  A Skills Survey will be sent to you with a list of true or false questions. Please answer true or false to each question and then hit submit. Once we receive your answers, we will reach out to you by email about the next step in the hiring process.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Pass a criminal background check
• Covid-19 vaccination (encouraged but not required)
• Willing to drive to client's homes up to 30 minutes away
• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting 
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
• Good interpersonal skills
• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (preferred, not required). We'll train if you're willing to learn!
• Ability and willingness to complete online continuing education training classes
• Willingness to follow and enforce health and safety standards
• Reliability: Professionalism and discipline to arrive to clients' homes, on time, every time

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and hygiene assistance, such as showering, bathing, toileting, and dressing
• Remind clients to take prescribed medication and assist them with monitoring vitals
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Plan and prepare meals and/or assist with feeding
• Run errands for the client or accompany them to successfully do so
• Keep the clients engaged in favorite activities and conversation
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Light housekeeping
