Job Overview:

Chatham Subaru is looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Lot Porter to join our team. The Lot Porter plays a vital role in ensuring a smooth and organized service drive while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our customers. This position requires a professional demeanor, attention to detail, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a neat, professional appearance and a clean working area.
• Acknowledge every customer and greet them warmly with a smile.
• Ensure the cleanliness of common areas, customer lounge, and restrooms.
• Keep the service drive clear and organized at all times.
• Use seat covers and floor mats to protect vehicles.
• Lock customer vehicles when parking them outside for security.
• Ensure all returned vehicles are free of smudges before delivery.
• Perform shuttle duties, safely transporting guests to their destinations (home, work, restaurants, etc.).
• Clean up any spills immediately to maintain a safe environment.
• Be mindful of cleanliness in customer areas and the service drive.
• Log all shuttle trips and vehicle deliveries with the receptionist.
• Keep the shuttle vehicle fueled, clean, and well-maintained.
• Ensure courtesy vehicles are:
  • Fueled and cleaned before use.
  • Checked for any customer belongings left behind.
  • Cleared of loaner agreements or other paperwork left by previous customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• A positive attitude with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
• Must be reliable and punctual
