Core Responsibilities:

  • Inspect used cars to identify damages and maintenance needs.
  • Test, diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
  • Inform the Service Manager of any additional services or repairs needed, estimating the time needed to complete the work.
  • Perform work on the repair order per dealership standards.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • 2 year of related experience performing vehicle inspections, routine maintenance and repairs.
  • ASE certifications are a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of vehicles paired with strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and thorough workmanship.
  • Must be reliable and punctual.
  • A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Hours and Work Environment:

Hours are Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm and Saturdays as needed, working in an open air shop with swamp coolers and heaters.
