Core Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and assist in the sales process, supporting sales consultants with customers when needed.
  • Lead your team to be successful through training, coaching and professional development activities.
  • Work with the sales team to set and achieve individual and dealership sales goals; assist with closing deals as needed.
  • Ensure customers are greeted and helped promptly and address any concerns professionally.
  • Build rapport with customers, ensuring they enjoy a positive car buying experience, contributing to customer satisfaction and driving repeat and referral business.
  • Stay up-to-date on factory-sponsored programs and market conditions to drive sales strategies.
  • Maintain current knowledge of federal, state and local regulations.
  • Participate in the hiring, training, and development of sales staff.
  • Ensure sales lots are presentable and that vehicles are displayed according to dealership standards.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • 3-5 years of automotive sales management experience in a dealership setting is required. Experience working at a Chevrolet dealership is ideal!  
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a team by building positive relationships with your team, providing guidance and support to help them achieve goals and professional growth.
  • Displays effective interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with customers and employees, manage conflict using sound judgment and problem-solving techniques.
  • Adaptable and comfortable working with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Inherently driven to achieve individual and team goals and the ability to motivate others.
  • Technology proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite and dealership management software.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Hours and Work Environment:

We are seeking candidates with open availability to work all shifts including mornings, evenings and Saturdays. We are open Monday – Friday 8am to 9pm and Saturdays 8am to 8pm, and closed on Sundays. This role requires working in the dealership showroom in an office setting, and occasionally outdoors on the sales lots.
