Core Responsibilities:

  • Respond to internet, live chat and phone inquiries promptly to assist potential customers with questions and generate sales appointments.
  • Log daily sales lead activities in the CRM software, and follow up with customers who are not ready to make an appointment.
  • Convert dealership visitors into customers by building rapport, understanding their needs and interests, and pairing them with a vehicle best suited for their lifestyle.
  • Perform professional vehicle demonstrations and organize test drives, highlighting desirable vehicle features that meet the customer’s wants and needs.
  • Stay up-to-date on product offerings, optional packages, and latest technology.
  • Assist customers with sales and financing paperwork.
  • Deliver sold vehicles to the customer, assisting with setting up vehicle features (i.e. navigation, Bluetooth, etc.) ensuring customers leave the dealership feeling confident about their purchase.
  • Follow up with buyers after their purchase to ensure continued satisfaction and generate repeat and referral business.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • A friendly and welcoming demeanor to build trust and make a positive impression on customers.
  • Prior experience in automotive sales, either new or used car sales, is favorable, but not essential.
  • Experience working in sales or another customer-facing role is strongly preferred.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, both in person and over the phone.
  • Active listening skills to understand the customer’s perspective, coupled with persuasiveness to overcome objections and close deals.
  • Computer literacy and the ability to learn and utilize new technology. 
  • An excellent work ethic, resilience, and determination to achieve goals.
  • A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Hours and Work Environment:

We are open Monday – Friday from 8AM to 9PM and Saturday from 8AM to 8PM, and closed Sundays. We support work-life balance by offering a 5-day workweek and 8-hour shifts. This role requires working with clients face-to-face as well as online and over the phone, and occasionally working outdoors on the sales lot doing vehicle demonstrations and test drives.
